People are welcomed to receive communion in both kinds following the Archbishops’ advice, or continue of they wish intincturing their wafers.

Advent & Christmas bookstall:

Christmas cards, Advent calendars, candle, diaries, etc, are at the back of church to be sold at the back of church over the next three Sundays. Please do browse (and buy!)

our own Youth Service:

For youngsters who go to Youth Church, on the first Sunday of the month 8pm in the Lady Chapel. Music, chat and an opportunity to relax!

DON'T Forget

See Mark for welcome flyer to give to those who have newly moved in the village; contact Jim if you would like to receive the newsletter by e-mail and complete a slip at the back if you want to borrow one of our new Christian DVD’s on a whole range of subjects; vouchers for school (any) post in the box at the back.

Trial Change to way we take the collection at the 10:30am service:

From October to January, as agreed by the PCC, that we do not take the collection plate round during this service time, but instead have two collection plates at the back of the church, one adjacent to each exit. This is a four month trial and we shall monitor the effectiveness of this. The reason for this is that many give by SO or monthly envelopes and that some can be embarrassed as the plate is taken around.

Sunday 26 December:

This church is offering a 10:30am service time. Please do support this service as very kindly the Archdeacon of Stoke, the Ven Godfrey Stone, is preaching and presiding.
